Today LeWeb announced the entries for the upcoming competition.
OK, this event is taking place in France and therefore has a string focus on this country. But still, I would have hoped to see more entries from main markets like the UK and Germany. From the 30 contestants only 2 are from these countries (Samedi from Germany and Charge Ventures from UK).
So - congratulations to the our Dutch neighbors and to Spain - who both at least were able to enter two interesting candidates.
Actually, we are from Malta :-) Not UK
Will you be attending, Andres?

Unfortunately not - too many other things to do currently and have not had an invitation in time.

Can you remind us why it is neaesscry to remove schools from democratic oversight and place them in the hands of millionaire used car salesmen in order for them to succeed? The investment is great, the new buildings where needed and when built well are great, but it's pretty much all coming from the government rather than the sponsors. Why does all that excellent new investment need to be tied to privatisation?PS Please don't reply with any guff about academies "out-performing" non-academies. You know perfectly well that there is no decent evidence for that, comparing like with like.

I just made these a few weeks ago and they were pretty darn good! I loved how easy they were to make too. Although I deifnitely agree the stick of butter and two cups of sugar don't make them the healthiest... I used about 1 3/4 cup sugar, but I think you could still put in less and they would taste good. And I like the new blog design- very cute!

Hey Heidi!I am currently in Madrid and my hnuabsd and I have been toying with the idea of moving to Germany. I am an English teacher here and so far haven't had too much trouble finding jobs. Is is difficult to find a job as an English teacher there? Thanks!
