The Football World Cup's tag line here in Germany is "Welcome at Friends" (Willkommen bei Freunden). And now it is official. When you arrive at Munich by plane, you arrive at Europe's best airport. Actually, there is no better airport in the world with the exception of Singapore and Hong Kong (both cities with LEWIS office, by the way) - and Seoul.
I could not agree more. It is the only airport in the world where I always have a car waiting for me.
Agreed - Changi is a great airport. Worst? Paris CDG and Atlanta both pretty strong contenders for me.

I would add Milan Malpensa. You would think they at least know how to serve Italian food - but please don't try (there is just one restaurant after security so you can't miss it although you should).

I have to agree about both Malpensa (shocking!) and Munich (breath of fresh air). Am surprised (as I'm sure many Brits will be) not to see much negative comment on Heathrow, tho'?
